Last July 7, 2016, PAGASA announce the updates of Typhoon Butchoy; The Southwest Monsoon brings moderate to occasionally heavy rains over the province of Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangaas, Mindoro and Northern Palawan.

According to the Severe Weather Bulletin of the PAGASA, the estimated rainfall amount is from moderate to heavy within the 650 km diameter of the typhoon.

Location of eye/center: At 10:00 PM today, the eye of “BUTCHOY” was located based on all available data including Basco Doppler Radar at 160 km North Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (22.1 °N, 122.3°E).

Strength: Maximum winds sustained winds of 205 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 240 kph

Forecast Movement: Forecast to move West Northwest at 13 kph

Forecast Positions:
