Mayor Rodrigo Duterte as a former mayor of Davao City and now a presidential candidate for this coming election, he has his platforms in urginng his very efforts to help the Maguindano and to help fix Mindanao.

He stated confidently that people and Mindanao are so much lucky if ever he will win as the president. He stated, “Kung manalo ako na presidente, swerte ang mga Muslim, swerte ang Mindanao,”

Unlike of his rivals, it can be seen that Duterte has the only platforms that the Moro people are included. He has all the ways for them. He has plans for clear peace and development for Mindanao. All the way, this made a difference for him being a candidate for president.

To do this, Duterte said there is a need to configure the government. He also vowed to correct the historical injustice committed against the Moro people. Again, he said, “Itong gobyerno na unitary, inuubos ang pera natin,”
