Who would have thought that an 88 years old, Iva Barr 30 marathons since she just started his career in sport when she was 50 years old and yes! she has no plans to stop. Participating in all those marathons, she was able to raise a fund as £10,000. She is also awarded by the Point of Light Award granted by British Prime Minister David Cameron himself last year.

In one of a article it was stated, “I’ve been out to Athens and done the original one from the town of Marathon up through the mountains, which I looked upon that as a marathon runner’s pilgrimage, it’s so gorgeous,”

She stated, “I’m not interested in the time I do. I think most of the injuries and discomfort come from the fact that people have a mindset in about how long they take,”
