Congratulations! The Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) announces the complete list of passers of March 20, 2016 LET (Licensure Examination for Teachers) or known as Teachers Board Exam within few working days after the last day of examination. Aside from the list of passers, Top 10 Passers (TopNotchers), Top Performing & Top Performance of schools will be posted here once available online.
Professional Regulatory Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) administered the Teachers Board Exam in at least 20 test locations nationwide: NCR (Manila), Baguio City, Cagayan de Oro (CDO) City, Cebu City, Davao City, Laoag City, Legazpi City, Albaybay, Lucena City, Quezon, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur, Pangasinan, Tuguegarao, Masbate City, Antique, Bacolod, Iloilo, Catarman, Jolo, Sulu, Tacloban, Tawi-tawi, Zamboanga, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Palawan, Romblon.
Though the total number of takers nationwide was not announced but PRC Baguio said a total of 7,938 examinees took the exam in Baguio and Rosales, Pangasinan. The counts is almost same with the March 2015 board exam.
The BPT who gave the licensure exam is composed of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy, Members.
The first licensure examination for teachers this 2016 covered two (2) parts for Elementary – General Education (40%) and Professional Education (60%) and three (3) parts for Secondary – General Education (20%), Professional Education (40%) and Specialization (40%).
The test covered the major areas of GE (English, Filipino, Mathematics, Science and Social Sciences subjects), PE (teaching profession, social dimensions of education, principles of teaching, education technology, curriculum development, facilitating learning, child and adolescent development, assessment of student learning, developmental reading, field study and practice teaching). The 10 specializations for Secondary Teacher with exam coverage depends on the chosen course: English, Filipino, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Social Studies or Social Sciences, Values Education, MAPEH, Agriculture and Fishery Arts and TLE (Technology and Livelihood Education.

According to PRC Resolution No. 2015-948, the target release date of March 2016 LET results is on Monday, May 16, 2016 or in 38 working days after the exam. In order to pass March 2016 LET, an examinee must obtain an average rating of not less than 75% and must have no rating lower than 50% in any of the tests, PRC added.
Aside from the full results, the registration schedule for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be announced. The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following: 1) duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal; 2) latest Community Tax Certificate (Cedula); 3) 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag); 4) metered documentary stamp for the Oath Form; and 5) the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2016-2019. Successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The dates and venues for the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
Last March 2015 exam results, PRC release a total of 12,103 elementary teachers out of 44,144 examinees (27.42%) and 17,904 secondary teachers out of 56,596 examinees (31.63%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) given last March 29, 2015 in Singapore and 17 testing centers all over the Philippines. It is further announced that of the 12,103 elementary teacher passers, 5,607 are first timers and 6,496 are repeaters. For the secondary teachers, 11,770 passers are first timers and 6,134 are repeaters. PRC stated (The results of examination with respect to eleven (11) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination).
Last September 2015 exam results, PRC release a total of 21,461 elementary teachers out of 68,442 examinees (31.36%) and 34,010 secondary teachers out of 81,463 examinees (41.75%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) given last September 27, 2015 in Hong Kong and 26 testing centers all over the Philippines. It is further announced that of the 21,461 elementary teacher passers, 20,145 are first timers and 1,316 are repeaters. For the secondary teachers, 29,443 passers are first timers and 4,567 are repeaters.
The expected date of releasing the official results is probable between May 2 (Monday) and May 20 (Friday), according to source. The expected date excludes holidays (Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and national election day) and weekends. A total of 61 calendar days or about 2 months was calculated.
