PRC release the result on February 29, 2016 with a total of 144 out of 267 passed the Geologist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Geology. The members of the Board of Geology who gave the licensure examination are Rolando E. Peña, Chairman; Francisco A. Navarro and Elmer B. Billedo, Members.
Professional Regulatory Board of Geology administered the licensure examination in Manila, held last February 22, 23 & 24, 2016.
Examinees answer the following subjects; General Geology (40%), Petrology and Mineralogy (30%), Applied Geology (30%). Last August 2014, PRC release a total of 125 out of 234 passed the Geologist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Geology.

The performance of schools in the February 2016 Geologist Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) “To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation” is as follows:
Any discrepancy in the report is not intentional on the part of the Commission, but rather due to miscoding of school codes by the examinees themselves. Concerned schools may write the Commission for correction.
According to the PRC official website, Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
