The new rule will be impemented due to the recent announcement given by the The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP). Flight attendants will undergo some psychological test and exams before they can get a professional license.
The recent supply of requiring a license stated by the CAAP they need to undergo some psychological testing. It was force because of what had happened last year where a flight crew member intentionally crashed an airplane in the French Alps.
The CAAP also extended the license for three to five years. After paying the licensing fee, the documents are to be filed for processing in the civil aviation licensing officer at the FSIS-LCD. License should be released within five working days. Licensing requirements ust be personally submitted by applicants for renewal to the Cabin Crew Safety Inspectorate for review and certification.
Meanwhile, new cabin crew members are tasked to submit all application requirements along with their certificate of ground training to the FSIS-LCD.
