Award-winning actor, comedienne and TV host Vice Ganda went to social media to ask prayer from the netizens for his ailing grandfather Lolo Gonzalo for recovery so that he can join him on his birthday this coming March 31, 2015.

In Instagram account under the name of praybeytbejamin posted prayer request in favor to Lolo Gonzalo reads, “Please pray for Lolo Gonzalo, Vice’s lolo. Include him in your prayer.

The Instagram message:

Lord, we come before you today in need of your healing hand. In you, all things are possible. Hold lolo Gonzalo’s heart within yours, and renew his mind, body, and soul. Comfort him upon his sickbed, and ease his suffering. We beg for deliverance, and submit that no healing is too hard for the Lord, if it be his will. Amen.

Last birthday of the actor, Vice Ganda opened up his concern regarding the health condition of Lolo Gonzalo while the old man was confined in the hospital after falling and hit his head. From that moment of accident, the 93-year-old Lolo Gonzalo has regained his good health and Vice Ganda became emotional during his birthday celebration and wishes that his grandfather will be given more years to enjoy with his family.

“Magmula nung mamulat ‘yung mata ko, natuto akong naglakad, unang-una kumanta, unang-una akong tumula, unang-una akong sumali sa concert, unang-unag akong nagkaroon ng medal, nandyan na ‘yung lolo ko, he said.

“Eh ako, sabi ko nga, huwag naman sana ipahintulot pero okay lang mawala lahat, wag lang lolo ko. Mawala na ang mayroon akong materyal, okay lang, kakayanin ko, huwag lang talaga ang pamilya ko,” added Vice Ganda.
