Once again, the annual event of “Oblation Run” was held by the chapters of Alpha Phi Omega (APO) from the different campuses of the University of the Philippines (UP) this year in Angeles City, Pampanga on Friday, December 05, 2014.

“Oblation Run” is one of the most awaited event in the university in the since that all participating individuals are required to run totally naked. But what makes more interesting this year is a wedding proposal of the one naked participant during the Oblation Run.

The naked runner who have made the wedding proposal was identified as Patrick Laxamana, 26-year-old member of the Omicron chapter of APO and alumnus of Holy Angel University. This is the third time Laxamana joined the Oblation Run. And according to report, every time Laxamana joins the said event, he always give roses to her girlfriend identified as Krizzy Martinez who is also a 26-year-old.

Laxamana and Martinez have been a couple for five years. Unexpected Martinez was surprised at this time when her long-time boyfriend knelt down before her witnessed by the crowd during the Oblation Run to ask her for wedding. Martinez then accepted Laxamana’s proposal. The said wedding proposal during the Oblation Run was witnessed by the crowd with cheers and shouting after the two kissing each other.
