Teen Queen Actress Kathryn Bernardo broke silence about recent viral photos circulated online where she and onscreen partner Daniel Padilla were seen kissing at an airport in Canada.

In an interview during the press conference held by rice take-out brand RBX on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, where the company has renewed endorsement deal with the actress. Bernardo has acknowledged the photos that it was she and her love team Daniel Padilla. But the 18-year-old actress explained saying that it appears to have been kissing while DJ was squeezing her cheek. It so happened in the public place where there are many fans watching them and took photos. It was at the time that DJ blocked her while squeezing her face in a coincident that their fans were taking photos of them resulting that she and DJ seems to be kissing.

“Mahilig kasi si DJ ganyanin (squeeze) ‘yung mukha ko, eh,” she said. “Inaasar niya kasi ‘yung cheeks ko! May mga tao kasi na nandoon na, na naghatid sa amin sa airport. Makikita mo na ‘yung ibang fans, nandoon sila, so nag-picture sila.”

“Siguro noong ginagano’n ‘yung face ko, nasakto na parang na-block ‘yung face ko. So pagtitingnan mo sa picture, parang nag-ki-kiss,” Bernardo explained.

Asked about some other instances that she and DJ were seen in photos with his arms around her, Bernardo explained saying, “like other people who are close to her (parents and family members and close friends) who expressed their affection to her is the same thing what DJ was doing, she said.

“Akbay, normal lang naman ‘yan,” Bernardo said. “Clingy talaga siya sa mga ganyan. Very comfortable po kasi kami.”
