Award-winning actress Maja Salvador and FAMAS Award for Best Actress Angel Locsin are competing for the Best Drama Actress category for the 28th Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Movies this year 2014.
The two Kapamilya actress received the nod for their outstanding performance in the ABS-CBN’s infidelity-themed drama series “The Legal Wife” which ran for 5-month time from January to June, 2014.
Aside from Angel Locsin and Maja Salvador, the Best Actress Drama category competition line up will be completed with the following nominated actress which include Bea Alonzo for “Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon,” Kim Chiu for “Ikaw Lamang,” Dawn Zulueta for “Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin” and Lovi Poe & Maricel Soriano, who starred GMA-7’s “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real”, which is also a soap opera about infidelity.
However, for the Best Actor category, we have Jericho Rosales of “The Legal Wife” and Dingdong Dantes of “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real,” both actors starred infidelity-themed drama series on their respective TV Network.
The 28th Philippine Movie Press Club Star Awards for Movies will be held on November 23, 2014 at the Ballroom of the Solaire Resorts and Casino, Paranaque City. The awarding ceremony is set on air on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at ABS-CBN’s Sunday’s Best.
