After the hit of the romantic comedy movie “Diary ng Panget,”Kapamilya star Nadine Lustre has become one of the teen’s favorite actress that expected to place her name in the top of the list of favorites in this generation.
She admitted that the success of her first ever film “Diary ng Panget” has contributed so much to her popularity that she has enjoyed right now.
According to her statement in an interview with the celebrity website “Push.com.ph” during the ‘Maaga ang Pasko’ event in one of the leading fast food chain in the country, Jollibee; Nadine Lustre said she is still overwhelmed by the success that came on her way that seemed she could not believe that within a year her career skyrocketed that ended with so many projects offered to her.
“As I’ve said before hindi pa nagsi-sink in sa akin like everything happened so fast like less than a year when DNP (Diary ng Panget) started, April siya nag-showing then after that my career skyrocketed na, I mean it’s not all the way to the top yet but it’s going there so parang ako I am just really thankful and I feel really blessed na ang dami-daming projects na pumapasok,” she said.
The 20-year-old “My App Boyfie” star narrated that there was a time that she almost gave up on her career in the since that during that time it was really down, but at this moment of time she said she is very thankful to God and to all her supporter who believed on her and of course to her family and friends who are always there at her back to support her especially her parents who are very supported to her.
“I mean I don’t know sobrang saya ko lang now kasi I had this point last year in my life na I thought na wala na, my career went down as in really, really down so ‘yun I am really thankful kay God siyempre and to all my supporters, my family na nandito ako, lahat naman sila dala-dala ko sila sa success,” said Nadine.
“My dad drives me everywhere, when I have scheds my mom goes with me. Sobrang supportive nila. ‘Yun nga ‘yung dad ko nakakatuwa nagingcommercial model na rin siya [sa Jollibee] ‘yun po,” she said.
Before she ended her time for interview, she revealed that she admired so much with the former star of “The Legal Wife” Angel Locsin and she said that Angel Locsin is the pattern of her career in showbiz that she wanted to follow her footstep and she also said she is willing to work with her if given opportunity.
“Gusto ko [maka-work si] Angel Locsin. I mean, I’ve watched her ever since. Ako parang I want my career to be like hers na parang medyo action ang dating ayon and I’m pretty sure ‘pag makatrabaho ko siya sana, medyo action ‘yung projects,” expressed the young actress.
Like Angel Locsin, Nadine is also open her door to the opportunity of doing fantasy-superhero projects.” Yeah that’s a blessing still. All the blessings I take them in.”
