In the upcoming tele-series “Forevermore,” young Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano admitted she was learning a lot of acting lessons with director Cathy Garcia Molina in which the 16-year-old Filipina-American actress expresses appreciation to director Cathy in the since that she was guiding her properly in everything she does during their shooting even through every scene like the way she delivers her line, the appropriate look of her facial expression was also properly corrected by her and the rest of her actions.
“It’s really fun kasi he really guides kasi bago pa lang ako and he’s been working for a while so talagang gina-guide niya ako, he helps me through the scenes. Ang saya niyang katrabahao kasi ang gaan parang kahit gabi na he still finds ways to make people laugh.
“Gustong-gusto ko talaga si direk Cathy ka-work kasi mas marami akong natutunan sa kanya kasi si direk Cathy iga-guide ka talaga niya through every scene like the way ako mag-deliver ng line, ‘yung facial expressions, pati ‘yung galaw. Parang bago kami mag-act papakita niya kung papaano pero siyempre lalagyan namin ng sarili naming touch,” she said.
In addition, Soberano relayed that they have now a better connection compared to her previous film “Got To Believe’ considering that “Forevermore” is her first time film doing the role that she can relate to her character unlike her previous movie that she was acting as a third party, or something like playing the role as a social personality, which is totally different of her present role in “Forevermore.”
“Kasi ‘yung Got To Believe second chapter lang ako, mas naka-bonding ko siya ngayon, mas na-feel ko siya ngayon.
“Sa Forevermore first time ko talagang medyo iba… di ba laging ‘yung role ko laging ‘yung third party ‘yung laging maarteng masosyal na babae ngayon hindi na.”
“Marami kaming similarities ng character ko lalo na sa story ‘yung story ng buhay ni Agnes, pareho kaming gagawin ang lahat para sa family. Maraming similarities—responsible, longing for this love na wala pero she’s full of love.”
Liza has been paired with the 22-year-old Enrique Gil during their first tandem in the 2013 film ‘She Is The One’ where the netizens have seen the potential of their chemistry.
In the story of “Forevermore” Liza and Enrique will portray a cat-dog relationship in the beginning but at the end, their relationship will reprove once again that this kind of totally opposite relationship do still attracts each other.
