Cristine Reyes and sister Ara Mina are both on the same excitement of looking to walk down the aisle towards the wedding altar.

Considering folk belief against “sukob” refers to misfortune if there are two siblings getting married of the same year, the older sister Ara Mina asked Cristine to settle down first before her.

On her privilege talk with “Kris TV” on Thursday, September 04, 2014, Ara Mina appealed to her sister Cristine to give her chance of getting married first before her.

“Huwag naman AA(Mina uses the nickname of Cristine). Paunahin mo muna ang ate, Sinasabi niya sa akin, ‘Ate, gusto ko na din.’ Sabi ko, ‘Paumanahin mo muna ako ha, relax ka lang diyan.'”

Ara Mina is set to wed this year with boyfriend Bulacan Mayor Patrick Meneses believes that her sister will give her way to marry first this year. She also said that Cristine won’t marry her non-showbiz boyfriend this year. But the 35-year-old former “6-sy” actress added that if they cannot wait, she is the one to make adjustments.

“Pero sige kung gusto nilang mauna, next year ako,” said Mina, who is now six months pregnant.

Last Tuesday, September 3, 2014 Reyes walked out when she was interviewed during the premiere of her comedy film “The Gifted.” When she noticed being pressured by reporters about rumoured of her pregnancy.
