Jhong Madaliday, classic rock song singing enthusiast in the province of Cotabato is making a round on social media with his stunning rendition of Air Supply hit song “Having You Near Me” which video on YouTube went viral since it was uploaded on August 24, 2014.

Jhong Madaliday is a high school student from Kabacan, North Cotabato and a vocalist member of the group dubbed as “Three Friendly” with his two instrumentalist friends who played acoustic guitars while he was singing “Having You Near Me” of Air Supply that caught the attention not only the people of their own country but even to the people all over the world as his video garnered more than 245,060 hits as of posting and video posted several times on YouTube.

Scrawny 15-year-old Jhong Madaliday was featured by Jessica Sojo on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at “Kapuso Mo Jessica Sojo” of GMA Network.

TV host Jessica Sojo described Jhong Madaliday as a Filipino revival version of prominent Australian soft rock lead vocalist of Air Supply, Russell Hitchcock while somebody described Madaliday as passionate musician who love so much in singing whose inspiration in his singing journey were Arnel Pineda and Pilipinas Got Talent winner Jovit Baldivino.
