Veteran actor Dingdong Dantes  finally proposed to her long-time girlfriend Marian Rivera during the primetime queen’s dance show on Saturday, August 09, 2014 live on national TV.

While the actor was on his knees holding Rivera’s hand romantically looking to her girlfriend’s eye the 34-year-old  Kapuso actor said, “May isang bagay na malinaw sa’kin, is that I wanna spend the rest of my life with you. Kaya ngayon, saksi ang mga mahal natin sa buhay, gusto kong ipagsigawan sa buong mundo, na ikaw ang sagot sa aking mga dasal.”

After saying few words he then grabbed the engagement ring and continued saying, “That’s why tonight, I offer you this gift, on your birthday, something that’s beyond any material thing or tangible one, but I offer you myself, my love, today and all the days of my life.

“Please, Marian, will you be my wife?”

Rivera could not able to hold back tears of happiness who then accepted the offer of marriage following her sweet whisper “I love you too Dingdong” (off mic). Loud cheers from the audience added to the sweetness and exciting of the proposal. Then the actor turned to the audience and proudly presented his fiancée.

“Ladies and gentlemen, I proudly present to you my fiancée.”

The celebrity couple was also seen lovingly dancing onstage for several minutes.

After a few minutes, Dingdong and Marian were greeted by their fans on social media. Family members and friend also welcome the two, while mother of the actor welcomes Rivera by telling her “Welcome to our family.”

Netizens were excited to hear from the two to reveal the date of their wedding and other details.

Dantes’ marriage proposal became the hot talk on social media and micro-blogging sites after his video was uploaded on the internet showing the actor’s sincere romantic proposal which was appreciated both of their families, friends and fans who have all been waiting for so long time for the two to end up exchanging “I Do.”
