Once again, the phenomenal star Vice Ganda of Kapamilya Network has made a round online following the alleged controversial issue of tagging him with veteran comedian host of Kapuso Network Vic Sotto. According to the alleged report, “It’s Showtime” co-host Vice Ganda malign the “Eat Bulaga” host Vic Sotto on air by saying “Laos at Inutil si Vic Sotto.”

On the alleged video titled “VICE GANDA SINABIHANG LAOS AT INUTIL si VIC SOTTO on AIR” went viral on social media and micro-blogging sites since the last week and was even picked up by tabloids, says ABS-CBNNews.com

According to ABS-CBN News, similar link of the supposed video entitled “Vic Sotto Minura si Vice Ganda” also appeared in Facebook and becomes the hot talk in social media since last week.

The supposed links of videos are suspected to lead to a phishing scam wherein internet users’ passwords are stolen by hackers.

The 38-year-old multi-talented comedian actor, Vice Ganda appeared in an exclusive interview with “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” aired on Monday, July 7, 2014, the comedian actor said that there were similar cases in the past wherein internet links to alleged celebrity scandals turned out to be hoaxes.

“It’s a hoax!” he said of the links tagging him and Sotto. “Parang ‘yung ano dati, ‘di ba may kumalat sa text na link na pag binuksan mo, “6” video.”

“Pag gano’n, wala man. Gawa-gawa lang ng mga praning,” he said.

Vice Ganda claimed he is not a type of insecured TV host to malign others especially TV host who is of the same profession as he is. He also explained that Vic Sotto, who co-hosts of the long-running television noontime program of Kapuso Network “Eat Bulaga” which program, airs in the same timeslot of “It’s Showtime” hosted by Vice Ganda, he said that Vic Sotto is one of his mentor in the showbiz industry so impossible for him to throw evil words against him, he said.

“Nung tinanong ako, totoong bang ginawa mo ‘yon? Sabi ko, ‘Napaka-imposible naman no’n. Vic Sotto is an icon.’ As a comedian na nagsisimula palang, he’s my icon. ‘Diba? Ganunin ko ‘yung icon ko?”

When asked to comment the alleged link of video where appeared Vic Sotto cursing at him, Vice Ganda, answered instead of throwing back negative comments against Sotto, Vice Ganda defended the veteran comedian saying it is not in his character to do such a thing especially on television.

“Wala naman sa karakter ng tao na gagawa ng gano’n,” he said.
