Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera won the popular celebrity award-giving body as “Celebrity Magnet of the Year by Yahoo! Celebrity Awards 2014 on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the Amber Ultra Lounge, Fort Strip in Taguig City.

The Celebrity Magnet Award or known as Media Magnet Award honors celebrities from different fields in the entertainment industry that include movies, television, music and radio. Nominees were voted by their fans from all over the world in order to rank the top.

Yahoo! Celebrity Awards unveiled 140 celebrities who are nominated for the 28 categories including the new 10 categories for this year 2014.

Marian Rivera who won the especial award this year was the first celebrity winner to be interviewed by the Yahoo! Bus. Rivera was nominated in five categories including “Actress of the Year, Celebrity of the Year, Celebrity Couple of the Year with Dingdong Dantes, Fan Club of the Year (DongYanatics)  and Teleserye of the Year for her defunct series Carmela.”

Aside from Marian Rivera some other Kapuso stars mentioned which include Christian Bautista, who is nominated for Male Performer of the Year and Rocco Nacino, who is nominated for Male Emerging Star of the Year. Cute couple, Bea Binene and Jake Vargas, who are nominated for Celebrity Couple  and two Kapmilya stars Daniel Padilla and Kim Chiu.

The 29-year-old Kapuso star admitted she was surprised after knowing that her name was mentioned as winner of Yahoo! Celebrity Awards 2014. Rivera was able to attend the awarding ceremony even though she was not feeling well at that time.
