Millenia Suites general manager Angel Suntay denied on Thursday, February 27, 2014 that “Miss Bikini Philippines” candidates were billeted at the hotel on April 24, 2010 the date stipulated in the complaint affidavit of Roxanne Acosta Cabañero filed at Pasig City Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 against the comedian actor TV host Vhong Navarro.

Angel Sunday told ABS-CBN News’ Mario Dumaual on Thursday admitting that Millenia Suites sponsored Miss Bikini Philippines in April 2010 but denied that contestants were staying there on April 24, 2010.

“First, we were one of the sponsors, that’s true, one of the hotel that sponsored the bikini event,” she said. “But the exact date that was being quoted, that was really not the exact date that the pageant was here. That was not the date they arrived with us.”

Millenia Suites management did not reveal the actual date but said Miss Bikini Philippines should be the one has all the right to reveal that information.

But according to Roxanne Cabañero’s camp, Millenia Suites was the actual venue hosted Miss Bikini Philippines contestants but this new version of Cabanero’s allegation surfaced only after she mistakenly admitting a different hotel as stipulated in her official complaint-affidavit.

Earlier, the 24-year-old former pageant contestant Roxanne Acosta Cabañero claimed that Miss Bikini Philippines candidates were staying at Astoria Plaza hotel in Pasig on April 24, 2014 the date Cabanero mentioned in her sworn statement that she was abused by the actor after both of them agreed to meet each other. But since Cabanero has informed Navarro that visitor is not allowed in the hotel, so the actor fetched Cabanero from the hotel. And while they were together inside the car, Navarro drove the car and parked under the dark shade of a tree where Cabanero claimed she was assaulted by the actor.

Cabanero’s camp is having a trouble in terms of identifying two different venues as the place of incident where she was abused by Navarro. In addition to their trouble, the management of Island Cove in Cavite denied from its separate interview confirming Navarro was at the resort on the night of April 24, 2014.

Some other factor confirming Navarro’s presence in the Island Cove the night of April 24, 2014 was Vice Ganda who has had executed also his sworn statement in favor to “It’s Showtime” co-host Vhong Navarro.

Atty. Alma Mallonga, the legal lawyer of Vhong Navarro said that they will file cases of perjury and libel against Cabanero in relation to her allegation against the actor.

The first preliminary investigation into Cabanero‘s rape complaint is scheduled on March 13.
