During the Grand Finals of “That’s My Tomboy” the special segment of the number 1 noontime show of Kapamilya Network “It’s Showtime,” on Saturday, February 1, 2014, lead host Vice Ganda took a critical remark at Deniece Cornejo, the controversial model behind the mauling incident of Vhong Navarro.

During the question and answer portion of “That’s My Tomboy” five finalists, the critical remark of Vice Ganda at Deniece Cornejo started when he mentioned her name during the interview to one of the finalists.

Vice Ganda asked the following question to Phao Faraon:

“Sa palagay mo kung iimbitahan ka, pupunta ka ba sa condo ni Deniece…Laurel, ‘yung artista…Kung iimbitahan ka, pupunta kaba sa condo ni Deniece Laurel para manood ng Analiza?”

Deniece Cornejo is the female friend of the comedian actor and “It’s Showtime” co-hosts Vhong Navarro that invited him to visit to her condo unit in Fort Bonifacio Taguig last January 22, 2014. Navarro’s visitation to Deniece resulted a mauling incident that redounds to a controversial issue that becomes viral in social media as the most talked and search issues since the time the issue was uncovered.
