Vhong Navarro’s camp is determined to file perjury and libel charges against the controversial model Deniece Cornejo and businessman Cedric Lee in connection to their continues dispersion of false allegations against the comedian actor and TV hosts Vhong Navarro.
According to the legal counsel of Vhong Navarro, Att. Alma Mallonga told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 that the alleged mastermind of the mauling incident in the condo unit at Forbeswood Heights, Taguig City; the model/stylish Deniece Cornejo perjured herself effectively, three times.
“The first time was when she filed a rape complaint and said that Vhong abused her and the evidence shows it is not true.
“Secondly, she perjured herself again when she asserted that the said abused happened to support her petition for a protection order with the RTC [Regional Trial Court] in Taguig.
“The third time was when she asserted the falsehood that on January 17, that said abused to her occurred; when in all her previous allegations she has categorically said nothing of that sort happened because she sent Vhong away.
“Given the consistency of her lying about this, how she can be believed at all?” Atty. Mallonga said.
Atty. Alma Mallonga discerned the inconsistencies of Cornejos allegations and questions it because of the contradictions with her statements; much more to her latest claimed that she was abused not once but twice.
As to remember, Cornejo’s first sworn statement, she described that there was nothing happened during the first visit of Vhong Navarro on the night of January 17, 2014 because according to her, she was waiting of her friend during that night and she also said that while waiting Vhong Navarro was in the living room and she was on one part of the room in this small condo unit she was living for free. Lately, she confirmed that her friend would not arrive anymore, so, she told the actor and drives him away. And because that Navarro was joking to her but give way, then left with nothing happened, Atty. Mallonga told PEP.ph when she was asked to give comments about Cornejo’s claimed that she was abused in two different occasions.
Vhong Navarro and Deniece Cornejo and Cedric Lee will meet again before the Depart of Justice (DOJ) for the follow up investigation on Friday, February 28, 2014.
