Leaders of the Philippine Show Business industry have executed the signature campaign to support Vhong Navarro from being brutally attacked that caused him to confine to the hospital since the time of incident on the evening of January 22, 2014.
The showbiz industry leaders also appeals the government agencies who have the power and authority to direct and put an end to the thriving culture of violence and impunity and diminishing sense of humanity in our country.
The content of the letter executed by the all the leaders in showbiz industry condemning the violent act done to one of the showbiz icon, Vhong Navarro.
The world of showbiz industry was shocked after the news of mauling incident that broke the silence of the media knowing that one of the showbiz members in industry was involved the said incidents.
Vhong Navarro claimed that he was a victim of torture and extortion but positively identified the suspects involved of the brutal attacked that force him to be admitted in the hospital. During the exclusive interview with the “Buzz ng Bayan” with the veteran host of the Philippine talk show, Boy Abunda, Navarro mentioned the names of the responsible suspects of the mauling incident which includes the businessman Cedric Lee and five other men and Deniece Cornejo who was identified as the mastermind of the brutal attacked.
In this connection the showbiz leaders has executed a letter of campaign to support the actor from being a victim of violent assault on the night of January 22, 2014 at Forbeswood condominium unit of Deniece Cornejo.
Below reads the official letter of campaign to support the actor Vhong Navarro, signed by all the leaders of the Showbiz Industry.
“On January 24, 2014 the entire Philippine entertainment industry was shocked to learn of the horrible incident involving TV host-actor Vhong Navarro.
“No one has any right to inflict torture on anyone regardless of his economic or social standing in society. Let the law prevail, let the court decide.
“In view of this, the undersigned leaders and officers representing the various sectors of the Philippine entertainment industry, unilaterally regret and denounce the brutal attack against our colleague, Mr. Navarro.
“We likewise express full support in his plea for justice.
“We fervently urge the concerned government agencies to put an end to the thriving culture of violence and impunity and diminishing sense of humanity in our country.”
