Atty. Raymond Fortun revealed the reasons on Monday night February 17, 2014 in an interview with “Abunda & Aquino Tonight” why he gave up on Cedric and Deniece from being a spokesman on the case against the comedian actor and TV host Vhong Navarro.

During the exclusive interview, host Boy Abunda asked Atty. Fortun why he gave up Cedric and Deniece; he answered that he just simply couldn’t do the work any longer.

“The bottom line is, kung mayron ka nang spokesman, you allow the spokesman to do all the talking for you why, because as any counsel will tell you, “less talk less mistake”. So, you only want really just one source of information na very waited para hindi nagkaka-mali which you conform to the evidence later on etc.” Atty. Fortun explained.

Boy Bunda made a follow question saying “Hindi ba masyadong cruel ‘yung decision na nagkamali lang ng isang bises binitawan mo na?” which host Boy Abunda is referring to what previously said by Cornejo that the kissing of Cedric Lee to her inside the elevator of the condo was no big issue.

Well, it’s not that, that’s what I am saying, it was one reason but the mean reason is really that, after joining the said 12 days that I have been acting as their spokesman, doon ko na realized na ‘yung mandato na ibinigay sa akin just was that too much,” added Atty. Fortun.

Atty. Fortun confirmed saying that “Hindi ko na kaya gampanan agn trabaho ko” and the decision is irrevocable.
