Ana Miles Cornejo finally broke silence and made her appearance on media via phone interview to show her full support to daughter Deniece Cornejo against the case filed by Vhong Navarro.
During the phone interview with the GMA-7’s best showbiz program, “Startalk” the wannabe plain housewife Ana Miles Cornejo expressed her sentiments against unfair publication of the report of the mauling incidents that involved her daughter Deniece said: “Galitako. Galit ako sa ginagawa nila,” she said in a phone interview. “Dapat, bago kayo lumabas samedia, anuhin nyo yung mga sinasabi niyo. Dapat control lang, i-filter niyo kasi yung mga sinasabi nyo, talagang mali,” added Mrs. Ana Miles Cornejo.
Meanwhile, the father of Deniece Cornejo, Dennis Cornejo who is working abroad as Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in a cruise ship also shows full support to his daughter.
Deniece Cornejo filed a case against Vhong Navarro claiming that the actor attempted to victimize her. On the other hand, the actor also filed a counter case claiming that he was setup, blindfolded and tortured and a victim of extortion by the businessman Cedric Lee.
Navarro filed simultaneous charges against the suspects involving Deniece Cornejo and Cedric Lee and six others in company.
According to the report, Deniece Cornejo and Vhong Navarro are supposed to be scheduled to meet for the preliminary investigation regarding the mauling incident on February 14, 2014. But the camp of Vhong Navarro was asking the Department of Justice (DOJ) to postpone the hearing because the actor is not yet ready to see the faces due to the emotional and physical damaged that he is suffering until now.
