Miss Bea Rose Santiago of the Philippines prevailed over 67 beauties from different countries and regions of the world, crowned the “Miss International 2013” Tuesday in Tokyo, Japan.

During the coronation, the 23-year-old Masbate beauty crowned by Spain’s 2008 Miss International since her predecessor, the Japanese beauty queen Ikumi Yoshimatsu, Miss International 2012 was deprived by the organizer her role to hand over the crown.

Upon receiving the crown, Bea Rose expressed to thank the people of Japan for giving her the most coveted title.

“This is my dream. Thank you Japan for giving it to me,” the Miss International 2013 said.
