After the massive destruction wrought by the Typhoon Yolanda in Visayas regions especially in Tacloban City, this time on Sunday, Tacloban City will be shaken with a strong cheer by the typhoon victims in support to the Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao.
In an effort of the government to divert the attention from a shocking catastrophe of typhoon Yolanda to the most areas of Visayas, the department of National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) is task to set up a wide screen at Tacloban Airport for the victims to watch a live streaming during the clash of the champions in Macau, said NDRRMC chief Eduardo del Rosario.
Del Rosario said that there are some other areas in Tacloban people can watch the live streaming of Pacquiao vs. Rios fight.
“Aside from the Tacloban Airport, the wide screen for live streaming is also set up to Tacloban City Hall and Astrodome. These areas are cleared already from debris to accommodate the live show, del Rosario said.
Pacquiao said that he will do the best fight to win for the Filipino victims saying “This fight is for you.”
Pacquiao’s team is confident that Pacquiao wins against Rios.
The clash of the champions between Pacquiao and Rios will be held at Venetian Hotel, Cotai Arena, Macao, China on November 24, @ 8:00 A.M.
