Due to the release of their brand-new track “Tumitigil Ang Mundo” on Wednesday, the Filipino pop group BGYO is once more trending on social media.

With the release of the group’s follow-up song to “Best Time,” which served as the official music for “He’s Into Her” Season 2, “TUMITIGIL ANG MUNDO RELEASE” became one of the most trending topics on Twitter.

The song was written by FlipMusic’s Marcial Domingo Antonio, Frederico Miguel Claveria, and Julius James De Belen, and the music video was directed by Karlo Calingao. It was recorded at a well-known theme park in Laguna.

BGYO is also preparing for the “Tugatog” Filipino music festival, which will take place on July 15 at the Mall of Asia Arena and include 15 additional local bands.

They have recently been practicing for the event, and they are scheduled to perform alongside MNL48 in a big number that combines their two songs, “Sabay” and “High Tension.”

According to the clip, the combined song would combine the two songs with a live band arrangement and feature choreography from both songs by BGYO and MNL48.

1st.One, Alamat, BINI, Calista, Daydream, Dione, G22, LITZ, P-Pop Generation, R-Rules, Press Hit Play, VXON, Yara, The Juans, and Zack Tabudlo are all scheduled to perform.

BGYO was recently highlighted on a sizable LED screen in Namdaemun-ro, Jung-gu, South Korea.

This comes after the trio won the title of “Best International Artist” on the K-pop website Idol Pick, run by the media company Dong-a, after receiving the most fan votes over a period of two weeks.

In the middle of 2021, BGYO’s first year, the Star Magic ensemble peaked at the top of two worldwide emerging artist charts simultaneously with “The Baddest” (Billboard’s Next Big Sound and Pandora Predictions Chart).
