Former actor Lance Raymundo claimed that his fast recovery from the accident at a gym on March 20, 2014 in which his face was crashed by a barbell that weighed 95-pounds resulting to shutter part of his face and exposed a single point of his brain was a miracle.

In an exclusive interview with Ginger Conejero of ABS-CBN News on Wednesday, Raymundo told the reporter a vision during his confinement at the hospital that he heard an audible voice and saw Jesus whom he credited the fast healing from injury.

“During my delirious state — knowing that I couldn’t be [operated on] for three weeks, knowing that ‘yung life ko 50-50, and with my left eye blind — I had a vision of the future all of a sudden, showing me looking like this, back in the business, all good things. It could be just a good dream, right?” Raymundo narrated.

Raymundo explained that the voice he heard from, was he compared to the ominous voice of “Big Brother” of the popular realty show of ABS-CBN. According to him the voice was seems to be anywhere that he could not able to pinpoint of where the voice was coming from.

“This is exactly what the voice said, in English, sabi niya sa akin: ‘You’re only going to suffer for six days, but on the seventh day, I’m bringing you back, because I have a mission for you. I want you to continue what you’re doing,'” he said.

After hearing the audible voice he really want to convince himself to believe, as a matter of fact he said that the voice he heard inspired him so much that he wanted to response to that voice but he did it only in his mind.

“So I answered the voice, in my mind. Sabi ko, ‘As much as I’d like to believe this, I know naman na three weeks pa bago ako mabuksan… Sana totoo ‘to, sana hindi ito imagination ko lang.’ Because you know when you’re in that state, you would like to hear what you want to hear, ‘diba?”

Raymundo recalled that the voice has challenge him to find the answer and prove that the voice he heard was really inspiring him to survive.

“The voice said that if I have enough stregth to at least sit down on my bed, I’m going to know the answer… I sat down, I struggled, and then nagulat ako, ‘yung comforter ko, pag tingin ko, may mukha ni Jesus sa pagkakagusot ng comforter. It was his face, exactly,” he said.

Raymundo continued that it was an unusual experience that happened only between him and the voice he heard even if his mother who was sleeping on a couch near his bed did not even bothered of. Lately, he called the attention of his mother to show her the blanket that marks the outline of Jesus’ face. His mother saw what he mean in the blanket and instantly, she took a picture for remembrance, he said.

In his mind, Raymundo believed that the voice he heard was coming from Jesus. He immediately apologized for doubting him. “I was like, ‘Alright, I’m sorry, I doubted you, but I guess this is the answer. As impossible as it seems that you said I’ll be back in seven days, na sinabi ng doktor na they couldn’t even touch me in three weeks, I’ll just take it. If you say that, then I’ll believe it, Raymundo narrated.
