The Outstanding Youth Men (TOYM) once again holds the awarding ceremony to honor deserving youth of the country. Among the list of honorees is the basketball star, TV host and Barangay Urdaneta Makati kagawad Chris Tiu who is also tasked to give his message to inspire the youth.
During his Speech, Tiu inspires the youth and put emphasis on self-revolutionizing mentality to fight against the so called “selfie.”
According to the Speech of Tiu, “measuring oneself is not based on the number followers of friends like that one has on one’s social media but instead it is based on integrity and virtue. Tiu said that he has accepted his TOYM award for youth leadership development
Here are the lists of names for this year TOYM awardees includes Emerson Atanacio (Social Entrepreneurship), Nicole Paula Curato (Sociology), Custer Deocaris (Science Communications), Miguel Rene Dominguez (Government & Public Service), June Cheryl Cabal-Revilla (Community Service), Alonzo Gabriel (Food Science & Technology), Karl Michael Reyes (Medicine), and Paolo Antonio S. Silva (Medicine).
