Actress and former Miss World Megan Young made a surprise appearance at the highly anticipated kickoff of BTS’ “Arirang” world tour, drawing excitement from fans both on-site and online.
The event, which took place in Seoul, signaled the official start of BTS’s most recent international concert series, which is anticipated to take place across several countries and feature a blend of brand-new songs and updated oldies influenced by Korean ancestry. Named after the well-known Korean folk song, the “Arirang” tour seeks to honor culture while showcasing the group’s development as international performers.

Attending the premiere performance of the K-pop megastars’ new world tour in Goyang, South Korea, on Thursday, Megan Young is living every BTS fan’s dream.
Hours before the event began, the 36-year-old actress and beauty queen posted pictures of herself at Goyang Stadium on Instagram.
She expressed her excitement for the concert by writing, “Dito na me. Where na u [BTS?]” in the description of the photo.

Megan was in Seoul a few weeks prior to see BTS perform at the famous Gwanghwamun Square, the group’s first performance in almost four years after a hiatus due to required military service.
The Arirang tour, which is titled after BTS’s comeback album of the same name, began with a three-night event in Goyang on Thursday.
With 40,000 people scheduled to attend each of the remaining events on Saturday and Sunday, the Goyang leg’s total attendance will reach 120,000.
Analysts predict that the tour, which includes 85 performances in 34 cities throughout the globe, will be a huge financial success for BTS, possibly surpassing Taylor Swift’s recent Eras Tour.
Although the precise location has not yet been disclosed, a two-day stop in Manila is planned for March 2027.
Megan Young’s attendance at the event also made Filipino fans proud, emphasizing the expanding relationship between Philippine celebrities and the international K-pop scene.
International celebrities like Young’s appearances highlight BTS’s widespread appeal as they continue to push the boundaries of music and performance.
