Belle Mariano talked about how her relationship with Donny Pangilinan has changed both on and off screen a few years after their on-screen collaboration started.
In an interview with the Oh My Gan! podcast on ABS-CBN News. The Kapamilya actress talked about how her bond with Donny grew stronger over time.
She continued by describing how Donny played a significant role in her current situation, saying, “Noong una, nahihiya akong kausapin siya (but) we are so close now. He is the person I can confide in. He is someone accountable. He is a blessing in a way na I wouldn’t be here without him too, and our supporters too. DonBelle is not DonBelle without Donny. So, he really is a blessing. With our connection, we are really close. Ano naman kami, open naman. He is really someone special to me.”
Belle also expressed her desire to collaborate with Donny in the future, saying that she likes to watch him develop both personally and as an artist.
After concentrating on their own businesses for the previous year, the well-known on-screen duo will rejoin in their next movie, Tayo sa Wakas. Donny’s inventiveness was commended by the Kapamilya star, particularly when their teaser announcement was being filmed.
Belle hinted at a more developed and emotionally realistic plot for their characters when describing their next project.
Belle also acknowledged that she felt under pressure to play the part in her upcoming movie because she wanted to give their fans, who had been waiting for them to collaborate on a project once more, something new.
“Actually, we never spoken about it. Parang siguro the pressure more is on our role, the movie, how can we make it different. Even the project of the announcement of Tayo sa Wakas, it was actually Donny’s idea. He was the one who conceptualized the whole thing. We are very hands on ‘cause we want to put good content out there that our supporters would enjoy,” Belle said.
Belle says, “It’s good pressure because we are happy that we are making other people happy, most especially our supporters,” despite the pressure.
