The teaser for Jodi Sta’s next film Midnight Girls. Sanya Lopez, Loisa Andalio, Maria, and Jane Oineza have all been released.

The teaser, which was filmed in Japan, shows the actors portraying a troupe of Filipina performers who work there.

Jodi’s character says, “Lalaban tayo girls, ha? Hindi tayo pinalaki ng SexBomb para bumawi. Laban,” in the teaser.

“Paulit-ulit nating sinasabi na ginagawa natin ‘to para sa pera. Dahil pera ang magdadala ng pagkain sa pamilya natin. Nagtatrabaho lang din tayo. Pero ang tingin pa rin nila sa atin imoral, japayuki, pokpok,” She added.

As stated in the CBO YouTube logline, Midnight Girls is place in Nagoya, Japan, where “four Filipina entertainers form a sisterhood while facing the emotional cost of their jobs. Together, they must decide what they are truly willing to sacrifice for their dreams in a foreign land.”

On May 13, the movie is scheduled to be released. Irene Villamor, the director of the recent blockbuster hit The Loved One, is in charge of it.

Online fans responded to the teaser right away.

A video featuring Jodi, Loisa, Jane, and Sanya practicing a dance to the song “Bakit Papa?” by SexBomb Girls was shared on the social media page for the movie’s video announcement earlier in March.

When Irene posted a picture of the cast during a shoot in Japan in April 2025, she first teased about the project.

Jodi most recently starred in the horror movie Untold in 2025. Her most recent television endeavor was the Lavender Fields series.

In 2025, Loisa starred in a number of major motion pictures, including as Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins, Bilyarista, and Ex Ex Lovers. Her most recent television role was in Pira-Pirasong Paraiso.

In the meantime, Jane’s most recent movies are You’re Mine, Fruitcake, and Love Child, all of which came out in 2024. Love Is Never Gone, a new Kapamilya sitcom, will also include her.
