After his stint on the PBB in 2005, Gainza entered the entertainment sector as a comedian, actor, and host, participating in a number of events and film projects. Additionally, he is well-known for his impersonation of King of Talk Boy Abunda.
The Pinoy Big Brother house is closing as the reality program relocates, it was formally confirmed last week.
Laurenti Dyogi, head of TV Production and Star Magic, told ABS-CBN News that a new PBB home will be constructed.
“We’ve decided to move it and build a new PBB house abangan nila kung saan ‘yung new PBB house,” Dyogi remarked at a farewell gathering attended by the staff, some of the show’s hosts, and ABS-CBN executives. “It’s good to have a new feel naman for the new housemates for the coming season.”
As he prepared to leave, emotions ran high among the remaining housemates. Many expressed their gratitude to Gainza for bringing positivity into the house and for being a source of comfort during challenging moments.
Tight hugs, tears, and final messages filled the farewell scene, as Gainza reminded everyone to stay true to themselves and cherish every experience inside the house.
Outside the house, supporters flooded social media with messages of appreciation, praising Gainza for his authenticity and humor. Hashtags related to his name trended, with many viewers saying his presence would be missed in the show.
Following his exit, Gainza is expected to return to his regular projects in television and comedy. With his renewed popularity from his PBB stint, many are anticipating more appearances and opportunities for the actor.
Despite leaving the house, his message remains clear—gratitude above all.
