MANILA — Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano have revealed that they will co-star in a new movie that will be released this year, giving fans of the “DonBelle” duo something to look forward to.

Star Cinema announced, “DonBelle is making us fall in love ALL OVER AGAIN!”

The movie, which has been secretly developed, represents the pair’s big-screen comeback after a time when they both concentrated on individual growth and solo projects.

According to Pangilinan, the news is all the more noteworthy because the film has been kept a secret for a long period.

Pangilinan said, “We’ve been keeping this from a lot of people for a very long time. It’s been in the works for quite some time. Me and Belle have spent some time working with ourselves and doing our own stuff,”

Mariano shared the excitement, describing the movie as an unexpected return for the popular on-screen partners.

Pangilinan hinted to a more developed representation of their characters when asked to give fans a preview of what to expect from the film.

He declared, “They’re going to see a mature side for the both of us.”

Asked if the project will take them out of their comfort zones, both stars reacted eagerly, stating “Yes, definitely!”

Further details about the upcoming movie has not yet been made revealed.

The on-screen collaboration between Donny and Belle started in the television version of “He’s Into Her.”

The two collaborated on television shows like “He’s Into Her” and “Can’t Buy Me Love,” as well as motion pictures like “Love is Color Blind” and “An Inconvenient Love.”

Since then, they have both worked on independent projects in 2025, with Pangilinan directing the action drama “Roja” and Mariano playing one of the lead roles in the family drama “Meet, Greet & Bye.” Despite this, they support one another by attending each other’s premiere.
