The actor featured on YouTube’s newest “#ByBea Lie Detector” episode, where he accepted the real lie detector challenge and addressed questions from actress-vlogger Bea Alonzo.

David was also questioned if Barbie’s real-life boyfriend jealous their love team.

The actor stated that he and Jak are friends and that they are both ‘artista’ actor, adding that he believes Jak understands the ins and outs of the entertainment field and that Barbie does not lack from assuring her boyfriend.

“[Jak Roberto and I] are friends. Artista rin kasi siya, so I think he knows about the ins and outs of this industry,” he explained. “And I think na si Barbie, hindi rin siya nagkukulang to give him assurance. Knowing Barbie, she is a good person. She is a good partner also.”

In the same interview, the actor admits to feeling pushed when supporters say, “Sana kayo ni Barbie.” However, he said that the idea occurred to him as a “what if?”

David then assured Bea that he still values his on-screen partnership with Barbie.
