Ricci stated that he made a mistake of refraining from making his relationship public. Although he declined to name any person, he begged the public to accept the choice not to make the information public, “so that we can preserve what’s left of our friendship.”
He also advised the public not to engage from spreading rumors about the situation.

Afterwards Ricci Rivero apologized for any disappointment.
