Several sponsors of the GMA’s noontime show Eat Bulaga are reportedly moving to the new TVJ show on the TV5 network.
Former Eat Bulaga presenters Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, according to a source report, gained support from 80% of their old sponsors to include advertising in their new TV5 show. For TVJ’s upcoming new show, 80% of advertisers are currently signed advertising contracts.
The rest of the advertisers, according to the article, will follow when their pre-booked advertisements with TAPE have aired.
TVJ and other Eat Bulaga hosts left TAPE for a variety of issues, namely unpaid talent fees and a claimed decision by TAPE executives to remove several personnel from the show’s production.
Puregold, a supermarket, has already indicated support for the famed trio’s decision as a possible advertiser for TVJ’s new show.
After being examined on by the company’s owner, Joey became emotional. As of this writing, TAPE Inc. hadn’t responded to some of its sponsors’ decision to support TVJ.
