‘Eat Bulaga’ returns with a new cast of hosts, including Paolo Contis, and here is his response to the critics.

Following TVJ’s announcement of their departure, additional hosts submitted their resignation letters. And the show resumed on Monday with a fresh group of hosts.

Contis, one of the new hosts, responds to someone who says the new EB looks like a mall show set and to the unfavorable remarks on social media.

According to a source, he and the other hosts cannot deny that they cannot match what the previous hosts accomplished, but they can progress and become better. He even admits that it appeared to be a mall show, but they are still in their early stages. They have a lot of work to do.

Despite these criticisms, they are pleased with the outcome of their first day. Their bosses were also pleased.

“Masaya at very hopeful ang atmosphere sa studio. From the bosses, staff, crew, lalo sa studio audience,” he stated.

“Ang goal lang naman namin is magtrabaho at magpasaya ng tao. Wala kaming gustong apakan na tao,” he added.
