TV hosts Pia Guanio and Sam YG declined offers from TAPE Inc to host the “new” Eat Bulaga for the following reasons.

According to a source, Pia Guanio and Sam YG were approached by the Jalosjos family’s production firm about returning to Eat Bulaga. They both, however, refused to participate in the latest version of the famous noontime show.

Pia was quoted as saying that, aside from her family, her first focus is her daily morning program, Kasa Umaga, which would air on Net25 at 10 a.m. From 2003 until 2021, she hosted the Kapuso noontime show.

This hosting role was an excellent opportunity for Pia’s career. Sam YG, like her, declined the chance to host EB again. The male TV personality stated that he was declining because of his daily radio program.

Previously, it was claimed that Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, and Paolo Ballesteros also declined TAPE Inc.’s offer to stay on the show.
