The senator addresses out in response to backlash after a viral video showing her yelling at security personnel.
Senator Cynthia Villar answered to her viral video in which she yelled at a security guard and his coworkers. When she spoke to a group of security personnel concerning the iron barriers on a road in Las Pias City, she argued she was not breaking any laws.
“Yung aking lugar na ‘yun, puno ‘yung ng squatter. Nilinis ko tapos tinayuan ko ng composting facility at vermicomposting facility,” Villar explained.
“Di ko malaman bakit nila sinasarhan. That’s for the people. We are not doing anything bad. Wala sa akin ‘yun,” she continued.
The video of Villar calling at the guards to tear down the barricades quickly went viral. Sen. Cynthia Villar triggered controversy online in an earlier post after a video of her yelling and criticizing a private security guard and his boss surfaced.
“Umalis ka diyan!” she said as she pushed the guard away. One of her bosses intervened, pleading with her not to hurt his personnel. “Bakit, kaya ko bang saktan ‘yan? Ano ‘yan, bakla?” she questioned.
