SALILIG CASE UPDATE: “Person of Interest” Statement Contradicts Testimony of Another Frat Member

The testimony of another fraternity member was contradicted by the statement of a “person of interest” in the case.

Many suspects have been taken into custody by police.

A person of interest, alias Biggie, recently contacted officials and stated that he left early. According to ABS-CBN News, alias Biggie was asked to participate in the welcome ceremonies as an officer of the fraternity’s San Pedro chapter.

According to alias Biggie, he left early and was surprised hearing that Salilig had died. He also said that while he was aware that there would be rites of passage and initiation, he was unaware of hazing. He said that joining the fraternity caused no harm to anyone.

But, according to the report, the stated person of interest in the Salilig case contradicts the testimony of another frat member. According to the testimony, alias Biggie was part of the group conversation that discussed the initiation. He also claimed that alias Biggie was among the group who arrived early in the morning and polished the paddle in front of the “carinderia” where they ate close beside the road while waiting for the paddle to dry.

According to the unidentified frat member’s testimony, the group conversation also featured a request from one of their members to bring Salilig to the hospital, but alias Void opposed it and reportedly urged to just drop Salilig and instructed those riding motorcycles to avoid CCTVs.
