According to meteorological service PAGASA, rain will continue to fall over the nation due to the northeast monsoon (Amihan) and periodic thunderstorms.
PAGASA said that the Amihan is striking extreme Northern Luzon, bringing gloomy skies with rain to Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, the Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon based on its 24-hour public forecast.
In addition, it will bring light rainfall and partly overcast skies to Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
In contrast, the remainder of the country will see partly overcast to cloudy sky with sporadic rainshowers and potential for localized thunderstorms.
Forecast winds in the country’s east will be between moderate and strong, and the seas along the coast will be between calm and turbulent. The rest of the country is expected to have mild to moderate winds and light to moderate water.
Wednesday at 6:23 a.m., the sun will rise over Metro Manila, according to PAGASA.
The country’s climate may be broken down into two main seasons using temperature and rainfall as bases: (1) the rainy season, which lasts from June to November; and (2) the dry season, which lasts from December to May.
