Coco Martin, a Kapamilya actor-director, revealed that he envies South Korean teleseryes, which have gained worldwide popularity.

Coco, as an actor and director, aspires to the same level of success in the entertainment world.

“Ang pinakamali ko sa buhay ko noong pinasok ko na yung pagdidirek. Napakahirap pala niyang responsibilidad, hindi siya ganun na makakapagdirek ka, ayon na yun, pero hindi. Sabi nga nila, ikaw yung kapitan ng barko, kapag nagkamali yan, kung ano man ang mangyari, ikaw at ikaw ang may kasalanan diyan,” Coco shared.

Coco also said that he had “inggit” for Korean TV shows since Pinoys enjoy viewing them. He is attempting to produce projects that will generate the same reaction from people.

Coco Martin went on to say that Filipinos are “magaling” and multi-talented. He also feels that the Philippine entertainment sector may follow those of Korea and the America. He stated that all that was needed was for people to believe in and fund the production.
