Karylle’s unexpected leave of absence from ABS-CBN’s noontime variety show, “It’s Showtime,” has attracted attention on social media.

The singer-actress and co-hosts of the show with Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Vice Ganda, Amy Perez, Kim Chiu, and many others.

“Siyempre I already filed my leave but for the rest of the cast di ko pa nae-explain yung demands ng show,”  Karylle stated.

After being approved in the audition for ‘The Sound of Music,’ Karylle says she intends to concentrate mostly on theater in the meantime.

The voice interviewing her then voiced his idea that Karylle’s absence from Showtime may be colored.

“Kasi baka mamaya bigyan na naman ng issue yan bakit wala ka na naman sa Showtime,”  said the voice questioning Karylle.

Some days ago, Karylle turned into one of the most buzzed about It’s Showtime hosts when fellow host Vice Ganda reportedly insulted and ridiculed her.
