Ivana Alawi posted on her Instagram story that she visited the Taguig City Hall of Justice. In her interview with Abante, she stated that she would file a case against the person who she claimed victimized him for 4.8 million pesos.
Ivana Alawi is said to have invested in Luiz Manzano’s manufacturing business.
The National Bureau of Investigation was investigating actor-host Luis Manzano in connection with an alleged investment scam.
According to John Consulta’s “24 Oras” report, Jinky Sta. Isabel and other investors filed the lawsuit in an attempt to recoup millions of pesos in investments.
She claimed that Manzano’s pitch persuaded her to invest in Flex Fuel. He’s rumored to be the chairman and one of the owners.
“‘Ako ito. Luis Manzano ito.’ Kaya agad-agad akong nag deposit,”
Sta. Isabel stated.
“Siyempre, hindi ka magda-doubt sa kanya. Siyempre, Luis Manzano, artista,”
she continued.
Sta. Isabel stated that the Securities and Exchange Commission had granted the company permission to sell products rather than solicit investments.
“I never took part in the management of the business,” Manzano said in a statement.
He is also said to have lost millions of pesos.
Manzano’s camp stated that in November 2022, he filed a complaint against his friend and company CEO, Ildefonso Medel Jr., after investors approached him to recover their funds.
Ivana also filed an Estafa complaint against the Flex Fuel. The actual filing of the case can be seen in the video shared by Abante. Many netizens commented on Ivana’s post in response to this:
“Yes mag ingat talaga. Kahit saan nagkalat na Sila. Nakasuot ng magarang damit. Naka iphone at Minsan naka upo sa matataas na upuan pinapanood Ang naghihirap na ninanakawan kaya mag ingat palagi”
“Mahirap din talaga magtiwala sa panahon ngayon”
“Hope you get justice po, mapanagot ang nang-estafa sa inyo.”
