Song Joong-ki announces that he got married to his non-showbiz girlfriend Katy Louise Saunders through a letter on his fan cafe via the Korean media outlet Sports Chosun. He also confirms that they’re expecting their first child.

“I decided to spend the rest of my life with this person who I have cherished my time with and who has supported me. Thankfully, a valuable life has come to us,” he said.

In the letter Song Joong Ki wrote to his fans, he said, “I have promised to continue living together with Katy Louise Saunders, who has been on my side supporting me and with whom I have been spending valuable time,” adding, “We are also thankful as a new life has come to us.

Song Joong-ki is a South Korean actor. He rose to fame with his role in the hit drama “Descendants of the Sun” and has since starred in several popular TV dramas and films such as “The Innocent Man,” “A Werewolf Boy,” and “The Battleship Island.” He is also known for his good looks and charming personality.
