The first-ever Pilipinas Got Talent winner is in the intensive care unit (ICU) after falling during a Batangas celebration. Jovit Baldivino rose to prominence in 2010 as the first-ever winner of “Pilipinas Got Talent.” As a talented vocalist and performer, he received the GMMSF Box Office Entertainment Awards in 2011.

He also dabbled in acting, appearing in episodes such as Growing Up and Juan Dela Cruz starring Coco Martin. He left show business after a series of scandals, although he continued to conduct concerts and events.

On Sunday, December 4, the singer was brought to the hospital after allegedly falling during a party in Batangas City. According to Abante journalist Ronilo Dagos, a blood artery in Baldivino’s skull ruptured, perhaps owing to an aneurysm. When a segment of the arterial wall weakens, it allows the artery to inflate out or broaden unnaturally.

On December 5, the 29-year-old singer underwent surgery and was moved to Jesus of Nazareth Hospital’s ICU, or intensive care unit. According to reports, Jovit Baldivino’s family has yet to issue a comment about his status.

Ivee Asuncion Reyes, Jovit Baldivino’s close friend, turned to social media to seek for prayers for the singer’s recovery. Her post was immediately overwhelmed with wishes for his healing.
