“Walang bawian,” said Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano in August 2021, when they agreed to cross something off their bucket list together.
Their shared goal is to skydive. The subject was addressed in a question-and-answer video released on August 25, 2021, to promote their new series, “He’s Into Her.”
Question: “Is there something that you’ve dreamed of for a long time and why haven’t you done it?”
“Skydiving. I haven’t tried skydiving,” Mariano’s response elicited a sharp response from Pangilinan.
“So, if nag-skydive ako, game ka? Sure ka, ha? Walang bawian, ha. Skydive talaga, Belle?” Pangilinan inquired of his leading lady, who replied in the affirmative.
According to the screen couple’s social media updates on Wednesday, the actor anticipated that they might hesitate to jump once they’re in the moment.
After more than a year, Pangilinan and Mariano fulfilled their promise to skydive together. During their stay in Dubai, where they promoted their film “An Inconvenient Love,” the two accomplished their goal.
Both posted photos of their adventures, with Pangilinan writing, “Finally,” and Mariano writing, “Finally of my bucket list.”
“You did it,” Pangilinan responded to Mariano’s Instagram post, sparking the trending hashtag “DONBELLE YOU DID IT,” which topped Twitter trends for the majority of Wednesday.
While Pangilinan’s remark was about their trip to Dubai, the celebratory phrase also applied to DonBelle’s phenomenal success and what appears to be their deepening bond behind the cameras.
