Lolit Solis, a showbiz veteran, took to social media to respond to the Kapuso actress’s “bad” meat post.
It was only recently that Mercado took to Instagram to call out the popular supermarket S&R after the meat she allegedly purchased from them looked bad.
The actress-vlogger shared a photo of meat she allegedly purchased from S&R on Instagram Stories. By tagging the supermarket on its official Instagram account, she confronted it directly about its meat. “quick question lang bago namin lutuin, safe parin ba kahit ganito itchura ng meat niyo?” she wrote.
Her post had gone viral, expressing responses from internet users. Among those who responded was showbiz veteran Lolit Solis.
Solis stated in a lengthy post that it appears to be false because when shopping at the supermarket, one usually checks what he or she puts in the cart.
It is simply impossible, she claims, for her not to have checked the condition of the meat while at the supermarket. “Dapat doon pa kung may reklamo ka ginawa mo na agad di ba.”
She’s perplexed as to why the actress took it home before filing her complaint. She mentioned how difficult it is to put such a large supermarket in such a difficult situation. She emphasized that the S&R was being unjust. “Puwede pa siyang ireklamo ng SnR dahil dito,” Lolit Solis claimed.
