The lead singer of the Filipino rock group Eraserheads announced that in 2023 they would undertake a “world tour.”
Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro, and Raimund Marasigan are the members of the 1989-founded Filipino alternative rock band known as Eraserheads. The group became well-known as one of the most significant and successful in Filipino music history, earning the nickname “The Beatles of the Philippines.”
The band performed at a reunion concert on December 22 at the Paraaque City’s SMDC Festival Grounds. Many believed that this would be the band’s final performance. But now that Ely has confirmed that they will be going on a world tour in 2023, their fans are in a good mood.
He recently posted on the social media site Instagram that they would be going on a “World Tour” in 2023. The band is anticipated to travel to various foreign countries.
Many people claimed as a result of Ely’s post that the renowned Filipino band’s “Ang Huling el Bimbo” reunion concert wouldn’t be their last performance. Ely’s announcement has delighted fans all over the world, especially those in Canada, the United States, and Saudi Arabia. It appears that the other Erasherheads members have not yet made any remarks about their “world tour.”
While more or less 75,000 people flocked to the SMDC grounds to watch the band’s reunion concert, according to the organizer of the band’s most recent performance. The number of attendees refutes the critics’ assertions that the concert was “nilangaw” and that all of the available seats were not taken up.
