Veteran actress Aiko Melendez expressed her thoughts regarding the viral snubbing controversies surrounding some celebrities.

The seasoned actress is of the opinion that public figures should demonstrate humility in front of their supporters.

Following the purported snub of a group of professional volleyball players by several of their fans while they were on vacation in Boracay, Aiko voiced her opinion about a certain artists being snobs on Facebook.

The politician/actress posted on Facebook about the problem of celebrities choosing to ignore or snubbing their fans.

“My take and View sa pagiging snob ng mga artista. Ako kasi kapag me bumabati sa akin o magpapapicture kahit gaano na ako kapagod pinagbibigyan ko. Ang rason ko lagi hindi naman naten alam kung first and last encounter mo na du’n sa taong ‘yun eh so ‘yung mga simpleng gestures like saying HI! Or pagbigyan ng picture taking ok lang yan,” Aiko shared.

Aiko added that there are instances in which a celebrity can kindly decline a request for a photo.

“So ung mga simpleng gestures like saying ‘Hi!’ Or pagbigyan ng picture taking ok lang yan. Hindi naman kawalan sa pagkatao nyo yan. Pwera nalang kung Asa ER ka ng hospital at hindi naman tama ang right timing pwede ka tumanggi. Lahat me right timing eh,” she added.
